Mission

We built Cheesedrop as a fun, completely private digital drawing board for our kids and their school friends to hang out safely after school. It’s designed to be a clean, zero-pressure alternative to big public social networks, gaming chat servers, and unmoderated design tools.

We operate a 100% AD-FREE clubhouse with no behavioral tracking, no third-party ad pixels, and no profiling of any kind. No child accounts, no real names, no behavioral ads — COPPA COMPLIANCE is engineered into every feature.

  2. Data We Collect

  To operate our 15-minute drawing and chat rooms, we temporarily process only the minimum operational data required: temporary screen names, ephemeral chat messages & art vectors, and verifiable parental consent via adult billing data processed securely by Stripe.

  3. Data Isolation & Daily Purge

  Child-generated content is never public, never shared, and never sold. Active chat transcripts and canvas drawing snapshots are captured strictly for parental peace of mind — private, authenticated, and temporary — then purged automatically as part of our daily data sleep routine. Single Chaperone Architecture: To ensure streamlined security and eliminate public database loops, session logs are accessible exclusively to the Hosting Parent who activated the room pass. Non-hosting parents should note that the room creator acts as the digital playdate chaperone. Because participating children remain entirely anonymous (using temporary nicknames with zero email registration), no permanent personal profiles are ever exposed or tracked.

  4. Verifiable Parental Consent

  Before any child can join a Cheesedrop room, a parent or legal guardian must purchase a room pass. This financial transaction, processed securely by Stripe, constitutes Verifiable Parental Consent under COPPA. We do not collect child data without adult-initiated authorization.

  5. Your Right to Delete

  As a parent or legal guardian, you have complete control over your child's digital footprint. You may refuse further collection, request an immediate manual room wipe, or PERMANENTLY PURGE your account and all associated room archives by contacting system administration.
